KYLE RICHTER, LEAD PASTOR
Pastor Kyle Richter is married to Hayes, and is the father of two girls: Anne Stuart and Helen. Kyle moved to Greenwood as a child and graduated from Greenwood Christian School. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Studies from North Greenville University, and earned a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. After seminary, Kyle taught Bible classes at Greenwood Christian School. The same passion to teach God’s Word carries into his role as Pastor at West Side. Kyle joined the staff of West Side in 2013 as an Associate Pastor and transitioned to Lead Pastor in 2018. Kyle has a passion for serving his home town. He has served on the boards of The Burton Center, Greenwood Christian School, Greater Greenwood United Ministries, The Emerald City Rotary Foundation, The Greenwood Imagination Library and is a Past-President of the Emerald City Rotary Club. In addition to spending time with his family, Pastor Kyle enjoys hunting, fishing and playing golf.
cheryl ellenburg, Administrative Assistant/Financial Secretary
Cheryl joined West Side Baptist Church staff in March 2016. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lander University. She is married to Dr. Bryan Ellenberg, and has twin boys named Adam and Ethan. She enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, shopping, and going on vacations with her family.
